One of the well-known surfing waves on Siargao and the Philippines, with a reputation for thick, hollow tubes is “Cloud 9”. This right-breaking reef wave is the site of the annual Siargao Cup, a domestic and international surfing competition sponsored by the provincial government of Surigao del Norte.

The wave was discovered by traveling surfers in the late 1980s. It was named after a chocolate bar of same name, and was featured by American photographer John S. Callahan in the United States-based Surfer magazine in March 1993. Cloud 9 also has a reputation for being a relatively cheap destination for surfers with many cheap accommodations and restaurants and bars to choose from.  (source: wikipedia)

A truly heaven destinations for tourists and backpackers when looking for scenic and  economical place to stay, including bars and resto for happy hour with adam a7 sounds and partying.

Yes it’s summer once again, the most awaited season for travelers and adventurers, for family and friends bonding moment. Here I will be posting summer promos from different resorts and tourist destinations as your guide when you want to visit the different provinces in the Philippines, showcasing their beautiful tourist attractions.

Surigao del Norte is mostly known for the vast coastal areas covered in mangrove vegetation, but it is also a growing surf spot and vacation destination. It is ideal for vacationers looking to explore the wonders of nature, as the province is home to Bucas Grande Island, Surigao Del Norte, beaches covered in sugary sand, and vibrant marine life. Sohoton Cove is one of Surigao’s top tourist attractions; it’s a maze-like place consisting of limestone islets, where the only way in or out is the cave entrance that vanishes during high tide. There is also the Jellyfish Lagoon, which teems with millions of non-stinging jellyfish that are perfectly safe to swim with and touch.
